Let’s Shop! Healthful Bites Holiday Gift Guide and Wish List

Finding the perfect “healthy” gift for the fit-minded folks on your list can be a daunting task. You don’t want to say, “Hey, hit the gym!” but you do want to find them something they will enjoy and use. These items strike that perfect balance of smart and splurge, and all are either A) items I own, love and recommend, or B) items that I would love to receive this year!

My top 10 gift picks for the fitness fans (rounded up from my wish list, spotted on fabulous gift guides or already in my closet):

Looks and feels like Lululemon, but at a much healthier price point for your bank account! I own and adore this.

Everything’s better with a little sparkle! Headbands are key for any fit females with short hair or layers.

I’ve declared my love for Yurbuds here before. If you know someone who’s still fiddling with her slippery earbuds, stuff a pair in her stocking!

  • Kinetic Cyclone Bike Trainer ($230, rei.com)

My new Giant Avail 3 can’t just sit in the corner all winter! This indoor trainer came recommended by a biking pro on Twitter.

Beautiful and inspiring—two adjectives that fit these customizable jewelry items and their creator, the uber-talented Erica Sara!

Wouldn’t one of these tees (sold by Mile Posts blogger Dorothy) motivate you to lace up your shoes and hit the road?

  • Life is Like Riding a Bicycle Print ($18, etsy.com)

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” So true, and especially appropriate for those with clip-in pedals!

I’ve pined over this bag for more than a year and finally clicked “purchase” this week. Now if only it would arrive in my mailbox instantly…

  • Custom Race Bib Coasters ($22, etsy.com)

I never know what to do with old race bibs. So many great memories, but they almost always end up in a “save” box or the trash. This is an awesome solution!

Broadcast your favorite transportation mode with this fun accessory.

Still stumped? You can’t go wrong by making a donation in their name to a sports charity!

What’s on your wish list this year?
