March Madness Playlist + Snacks


Happy March Madness! For a sports fan like me, this is the most wonderful time of the year besides Christmas. I’m a sap for the fun, family time and general good cheer! Back to the point at hand: The 64 teams are now set and hit the courts beginning today! In honor of their athletic prowess and the bass-pumping music that gets the crowds even more into the action, I designed a playlist so we can all sweat right alongside the tournament athletes.

Just subscribe to my hour-long playlist on Spotify, press play (preferably doing some sort of treadmill run/walk or other routine in view of a TV) and prepare to defeat your imaginary opponent.

Prefer to snack while rooting for your team? I’ve got you covered! My starting line-up of nutritious snacks:

  3. Confetti Bean Dip
  4. Mini Pita Pizzas—Use toppings that match the color of your team!

The ultimate question of the day: Who’s going to win the tournament?

Get out your crystal balls, then comment with your picks! The winner gets a custom-designed workout playlist (in other words, you get to select my next playlist theme). :) Personally, I’m cheering for my alma mater, the Iowa State Cyclones, but I’m not holding my breath for them to take home the trophy. After all their outrageous comebacks this season, no one can count them out, though!
